MELVIN CHIA

Melvin is the founder of DPI after two decades of working in the architectural industry in the UK and few years in Malaysian and Melbourne. Melvin is both a qualified Architect and Urban designer, his time in private practice given him experience in town centre regeneration, mixed-use, leisure, residential, office towers, retail, residential and interiors. He is also keen on drawing, painting, gardening and cooking.

DAVID ELLIS

ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANT

David Ellis is an architect with 25 years’ experience in the creation of mixed-use, destinations across the globe. David’s passion centres on urban regeneration, from city quarter masterplanning to the remodelling of existing destinations. Each has a common philosophy, which recognises the creation of place in our cities as being the key to their ongoing renaissance.

PART II ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT

Ruotian Wang is a part 2 architectural assistant with 2 years’ experience in the industry. Mostly working on international projects, Ruotian has participated in many projects categories from mixed-use retail, leisure, hospitality, education, office to residential and interior. Ruotian is particularly good at digital modelling and model making.

Sabina Arcieri

Sabina is an experienced and qualified architect in both Italy and in the UK, she has an extensive experience in space planning, interior architecture and projects relating to mixed-use and education. Before being apart of IDP, she has worked in reputable practices in London, Milan and Rome. In her pastime, she enjoys drawing, painting, travelling, singing in choirs and hiking in mountainous terrains.

CHUAN CHIAM

PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

Chuan is a qualified Architect by training and has extensive experience in the retail, leisure and mixed-use sector in the building industry in the UK and Middle-East. He also has 10 years working experience in Singapore before settling in the UK. He is also an avid ping-pong player, collector of art and a pianist.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

peter funnell

Peter was a Senior Curator and Head of Research at the National Portrait Gallery in London. He has extensive experience in senior management of arts and cultural institutions. He brings management and business development solutions to the various aspect of running a creative practice like DPI.
